Mobile phone carrier O2 UK is getting ready to release some new Nokia Asha devices next month, after recently making one such new phone available for purchase.

Currently, UK mobile phone users can head to the wireless carrier to purchase the new Nokia Asha 300 smartphone on both Pay Monthly and Pay As You Go basis.

The new device just went available at the operator and features a price tag of £89.99 if purchased with the £10 top-up. Those who will choose to have it on a monthly contract will receive it for free on plans starting at £10.50.

Next month, two other Asha devices will hit shelves at O2, namely the Asha 201 and Asha 302. Both of these are currently listed on the company’s coming soon page with an April release timeframe attached to them.

The Nokia Asha 300 that went available now packs a 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen display and features the traditional alphanumeric keyboard on the front.

Running under Nokia’s Symbian S40 software, it will offer great performance capabilities courtesy of a 1GHz application processor, complemented by support for HSPA connectivity. The phone also includes a 5 megapixel photo snapper on the back, along with 1100mAh battery.

The Nokia Asha 201 and the Asha 302 can easily prove great messaging phones, while also being able to keep users connected with their online friends and with social networking sites at all times.

These devices come with enhanced Facebook connectivity, with the fast new Nokia Browser inside, and with QWERTY keyboards on the front, great for fast typing while on the go.

Nokia Asha 201 sports a 2MP camera on the back, stereo FM radio, a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, and WhatsApp to keep users connected to social networks, emails and chat.

The Nokia Asha 302 features a 3.2 megapixel camera on the back, along with 3.5G and Wi-Fi connectivity, Facebook and Twitter feeds on its live homescreen, and WhatsApp to keep users connected at all times.
