The hackers have taken some time out because of personal problems

The NullCrew hacker group is back. They’ve resumed their old campaign “[Expletive]TheSystem” and launched distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) attacks against the websites of UPS (ups.com), the Philippines Social Security Systems (sss.gov.ph), and the Pokemon community called Smogon University (smogon.com).

Currently, all the websites are inaccessible.

The hackers told me that they’d taken some time out because of some “personal problems.” Now, three of the group’s members are back and ready to continue hacking.

As far as their future plans are concerned, “there will come something soon,” they said.

In the past, NullCrew has taken credit for attacks on various government and private organizations from all over the world, including Asus, Yale University, Cambridge University, WHO, and Time Warner Cable.

Here is a complete list of their previous hacks.

Update. It turns out that this is not the old NullCrew collective, but simply a group (or one hacker) who wants to profit from their reputation. Former members of NullCrew have confirmed it.
