Best argument for Cyber-shot quality

One news that many camera phone producers will be happy to hear is that Guido Karp, a professional photographer, has exhibited at the IFA 2007 a large number of art photographs taken with a mobile phone. The images focus on the human nude as a main object and will also be published in a book, this autumn.

The photographer used a Sony Ericsson K810i handset for taking all the displayed captures. The impressive thing about this IFA 2007 exposition is that Guido Karp made no photo correction before printing large format photos, but the images still look perfect.

This might be just the thing that Sony Ericsson needs after it has been caught lying about their K850i camera performances with the help of the EXIF data. In fact, what better statement of quality can a camera phone receive, other than that of having an art exposition enclosing its captures? It's good investing coming from the producer in a nice publicity stunt that will surely pay off.

Guido Karp has a large photography portfolio, with images of some of the greatest stars of the rock and pop music scenes. Aside from this, he has also been drawn to the female nude, which is also the theme of his exhibit at this year's IFA show.

Sony Ericsson K810i is a Cyber-shot phone model equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera, including auto focus and Xenon flash. These features make it possible to take good quality pictures even in low-light conditions. The phone also has an easy to use menu, to make sure that the user makes the capture settings fast. This is not the strongest Cyber-shot phone model in Sony Ericsson's line of camera phones but seems to be the one preferred -by Guido Karp or Sony Ericsson- to receive all this publicity.

"Guido Karp: The Nudes" can be seen at the IFA 2007 show. Most of them will also be enclosed in a book that the photographer will launch in October, this year. It will be called "The Nudes- Photography with a Cyber-shot mobile" and all pictures published in it will have no photo correction too.
