Although I definitely don't see Windows 7 as a operating system particularly well suited for tablet there's no denying the fact that Microsoft's OS may prove to be a lot better for certain tasks than Android, so Novatech has decided to let its users choose what operating system they want to run in their 10 inch nTablet.

This is done via a dual-boot menu that lets the user select between Android and Windows 7 Home Premium of Professional, both options being available when purchasing Novatech's 10.1-inch tablet.

Operating systems aside, this tablet is powered by an 1.6GHz Intel Atom N455 processor as well as 1GB of DDR3 memory, a pretty speedy configuration for a tablet, although PC Pro found in its review of the nTablet that it still lags when multitasking in Windows, something that I can't say it wasn't expected as Microsft's OS has pretty hefty system requirements.

Storage is provided by a 32GB SSD unit, the nTablet also featuring an 1.3MP front-facing camera as well as an microSD card reader and 4200 Amh battery that should provide up to 5 hours of operation when Windows 7 is being used.

Connectivity wise, users get 801.2 b/g/n WiFi as well as Bluetooth, a 3G modem being also available as an option.

To the side of the 10 inch 1024x600 capacitive display users will also find a mini HDMI output, two USB ports as well as a 3.5 audio jack, so you can connect this to a HDTV pretty easily, although don't expect that skimpy Atom processor to handle 1080p content.

All of these are packed inside a pretty sleek and thin 725g case so this thing is pretty portable, although it can't certainly match a 7 incher in this regard.

Price wise, the nTablet starts at an pretty hefty £349.99 price tag (about $557 US) and if you want Windows 7 preinstalled this will set you back a full £439.00 ($699), while upgrading to Windows 7 Professional will cost you yet another £30. (via liliputing)
