10.1-inch Android tablet is not quite there yet, but will be soon enough

Notion Ink's Adam tablet is getting ready to try and bring some more customers into its fold.

In fact, it will do it by offering support for Android 4.0, otherwise known as the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

You'd think a revelation like this would have a short demo video as proof, but Notion Ink settled for something else this once.

What it did was post, on its blog, a photo of the 10.1-inch Tegra 2 tablet running the new operating system.

ICS has been open sourced, so Notion Ink is doing its best to port it to its device.

At this stage, the camera is not working, but it should be just a matter of time until this issue is surmounted.

Maybe then the Adam will actually reel in some interest, since the versatile Pixel Qi display (optional) doesn't seem to have managed it on its own.
