Back in December we brought you news that notorious Indian company Notion Ink finally launched the second-gen Adam II tablet, but at the time the device-maker only made available it on the Indian market. Well one month later, this is not the case anymore and customers in Europe can also order one.

The manufacturers appears to be one of those device-makers that like to take their time designing new machines and won’t rush things for anything in the world.

We’re saying that because the first Adam was launched a few years back, and since then the company remained silent about the advancement of the Adam II prototype.

In September when Notion Ink introduced the MB-OX 10.1 tablet, it was speculated this was a variant licensed by the company with the purpose of being turned into the Adam II at a later time.

Now the device has been made available for international shipping, so if you want to pick one up, you can do so for the price of €219 / $299, says TabletManiak.

Following the tradition installed previously, Notion Ink designs tablets with a twist. The first Adam came bundling one of the first Pixel Qi sunlight readable displays to have ever graced a mobile device and an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.

The new Adam II continues the work that has been done before by being the only tablet on the market (as far as we know) with a secondary screen, where notifications are received.

Apart from that, the Adam II comes equipped with a 10-inch Android tablet with a 1280 x 800 pixels and a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor combined with 1GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the Adam II is home to a 3.15MP rear camera, microHDMI, 8GB of internal storage and a capable 6000 mAh battery. Last but not least, Adam II runs Android 4.2.2 out of the box.
