Northwestern University will be using uniforms stained with blood in their next game, and the decision has been made in support of the Wounded Warrior Project.

The players' uniforms are made up of bloody helmets, gloves, pants, and shoes. Ten percent of the proceeds from selling the shirts will go to the project.

According to the Daily Mail, all the proceeds from selling the uniforms that the players will actually wear on the field will go out to support wounded troops.

In keeping with the theme, the Wildcats players will don the words “Duty,” “Honor,” “Courage,” “Commitment,” “Integrity,” “Country,” and “Service” on their jerseys.

Some of their fans believe that wearing US flags covered in blood to honor wounded soldiers is not the best way to go. Tell me what you think in the comments section.
