25-year-old model Noot Seear is a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry, but she has hopes set high that her career will not stop here. Once “New Moon,” the second installment in “The Twilight Saga,” drops in theaters in November, Seear will become a household name and a genuine paparazzi magnet just like the other stars who appear in the highly successful and popular vampire flick.

Still, as she reveals in a new interview with Style magazine, while she does want to become an established actress that stands out for her own merits, Noot says she doesn’t want even half of the exposure co-star Robert Pattinson is now getting in the media, granted anyone could actually equal him from this point of view. She did grow up in the presence of the cameras and has become accustomed to it, but privacy still remains pretty important for her, the model explains.

“I’m not sure it will be the same thing. My part is relatively small, and then I’m not coming back until the fourth film, so I’d like to think I can stay under-the-radar. All that fame, I mean, I know it’s something Rob [Pattinson] has been struggling with, because it happened so quickly to him and in such a massive way. I like being able to walk down my street without being recognized, and I don’t like people knowing my business. So what I’d prefer, rather than go for some big blockbuster after this, is to build my career up slowly, with some indies, things like that. Good scripts, good directors. I’ve managed to have a lot of longevity as a model because I never got overexposed. I’m hoping I can have the same kind of career as an actress.” Noot tells the mag when asked about whether she looks at Pattinson and thinks that will be her life in a few months.

In the same interview, the Canadian beauty reveals that she was virtually a stranger to the “Twilight” drama before she landed a part on it, as she also admitted on another recent occasion. Once she landed the part, she started to read the books and almost immediately became so fascinated with them that she simply could not put them down. In this sense, she also has a recommendation for all “Twilight” fans who enjoy Stephenie Meyer’s books just as much as they do the movie(s): read on a plane for the maximum thrill.

“I read them on airplanes. I think there’s something about flying that heightens emotion, because I was literally crying the whole way through each of those books. Flying and crying. I’m sure people thought I was crazy.” Noot Seear further says. For the full interview with Style magazine, please see here. Also, fans should stand by because almost the entire cast is back in Vancouver, getting ready to start shooting for “Eclipse,” so more details are bound to emerge soon.
