Wireless carrier T-Mobile UK is expected to soon add a new mobile phone to its offering, namely the Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type, which is now listed on the operator's website as set to become available for purchase in October.

The mobile phone carrier plans the near launch of a number of three Nokia devices, including the Nokia N8 and the Nokia C7, along with the Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type, which should land as the most affordable of them.

However, the handset's specifications still seem as appealing as they can be, especially since it packs both a touchscreen display and an alphanumeric keyboard in a candybar form factor.

Measuring only 106.2 x 48.4mm x 9.6mm and weighing in at only 78 grams, the mobile phone should prove a great option for many user, especially since it packs a 2.4-inch touchscreen display that boasts a QVGA resolution.

The specifications list of the new phone shows support for 3G connectivity, as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and microUSB connectivity options.

The new device also packs a 5-megapixel photo snapper with digital zoom, as well as a microSD memory card slot with support for additional storage space (a 16Gb card should be included into the mix from the start).

As expected, the new Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type comes with support for various mobile services from Nokia, including the Ovi Music Unlimited service with access to millions of tracks.

Of course, the new device also includes all of the features and capabilities that one would expect from a mobile phone, enhanced by the new Touch and Type design Nokia packed it with.

No specific details on when the phone would become available for purchase from T-Mobile UK emerged, nor on its price tag, but it should be out on sale in the coming weeks, most probably on very appealing plan options.

Those interested in learning more on this handset should head over to the wireless carrier's website here to register for receiving updates on its availability.
