Mobile phone users in the United States interested in the purchase of a new Nokia Lumia smartphone running under Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 8 operating system will be in for a treat this holiday season.

The company has launched a special promotion for them, bundling the handsets with a free set of Nokia Monster Purity headsets (the in-ear models).

Apparently, the deal is available for all Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 purchased with an AT&T contract, as well as for the Lumia 810 at T-Mobile and Lumia 822 on shelves at Verizon.

The offer is available for all purchases made between November 20, 2012 and December 31, 2012 at participating stores across the United States.

In fact, Nokia has already confirmed to WPCentral that the deal is available only with smartphones purchased through its 8 pop-up stores in the country. Even so, the promotion seems to be a great one for those who will be able to participate.

“We are very pleased by the positive response to our Lumia range in the US. And I agree, there are some great holiday deals to be had,” Doug Dawson, VP, media relations, Nokia, reportedly said.

“However, this particular promotion is an exclusive offer available only through our 8 pop-up stores in the US.”

Users who have purchased a new Lumia handset through one of these locations have until January 8, 2013, to postmark their claims. They should head over to NokiaHolidayHeadset.com to learn specific info on how to claim the gift.

The $90 headset will be delivered for free to users within 4-6 weeks after the redemption material has been received, Nokia explains. The offer is limited to one headset per device / person / household.

Nokia provides specific info on the promotion in this PDF document on the aforementioned website. Make sure you read it before completing your claim.
