Another profitable contract for Nokia Siemens Networks

Nokia Siemens Networks just landed one more big deal on its already long list of partnerships. Indonesian company Telkomsel, the country's leading cellular and wireless network operator.

As part of the agreement, Nokia Siemens Networks will take care of all the steps needed for this country to reach high telecom evolution. This means that they will be responsible for the next generation convergent charging solution, charge@once premium, supporting voice and data services for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers.

As a result, Telkomsel should benefit from all of Nokia Siemens' experience and solutions developed over the years. This should extend its charging capacity of approximately 40 million subscribers with some additional 10 million subscribers to the current ones.

Nokia Siemens Networks will provide Telkomsel with implementation services, project management of the installation, commissioning, telco integration, supervision and acceptance activities in the project. All this means that Tlkomsel will be saved from all the work and expenses of figuring aut which is the best solution for such matters. All they will have to do is to rely on Nokia Siemens' experience and hope to see the same large growth rate that other partners for this company have had in time.

The services coming from Nokia Siemens Networks have led to great development in other countries that find themselves among partners. Charge@once premium supports Telkomsel's day-to-day operations with real-time functionalities and flexibility required in this customer-focused business, he also stated.

Nokia Siemens Networks provides software solutions for charging and network management to improve the business performance of its partners. It currently works with more than 600 network management customers and more than 280 service management installations.
