Today, Nokia has unveiled its financial results for the fourth quarter of the last year, posting lower Lumia sales and reporting its Devices & Services business as discontinued, yet the company is still preparing an announcement at the MWC 2014, it seems.

According to Pocket-lint, the company has already sent out invitations for a press event at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 24, where new devices might be announced.

In fact, the news site claims that the phone maker might announce more than three smartphones on that day, including the recently rumored Nokia Normandy Android handset.

The list of possible candidates reportedly also includes the Lumia 1820, Lumia 1520V, and Lumia 1525, all of which were spotted online before.

The Lumia 1820 is expected to arrive as the next flagship from the company, with a 5.2-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 2k resolution, as well as with a Snapdragon 805 processor inside.

The smartphone is also said to feature 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and a 3400mAh battery. On the back, it should pack a Lytro-like camera with Xenon flash.

Second in line comes the Lumia 1520V, supposedly a mini version of the company’s current flagship device. It is said to sport a quad-core Snapdragon 800, a 14-megapixel camera, and a 3000mAh battery with wireless charging.

It might feature a 4.3-inch touchscreen display capable of a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, and also include 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

Next comes the Nokia Normandy, long said to be the company’s first Android-based smartphone, which should be launched as part of the Asha lineup with a 854 x 540 pixels screen, a 5MP camera, and Android 4.4.1 KitKat loaded on top.

The fourth possible new Nokia smartphone is the Lumia 1525, a device previously suggested to be planned for late 2014 as the Lumia 1520 successor.

The mobile phone should land on the market with a 6-inch screen, similar specs as the Lumia 1820, and a 25MP/30MP camera on the back. Moreover, Nokia is said to plan on packing the phone with solar charging capabilities.

Given that all of these handsets were leaked online before, chances are that at least some of them will become official soon, though it remains to be seen whether Nokia will be the one to unveil them.

The company has sold its Devices&Services business to Microsoft, which means that any new smartphones to come from its labs will be launched under this company’s brand. However, the deal has yet to be officially confirmed as closed.
