Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has just put on sale another special edition of one of their handsets, namely the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, which now sports a Games Edition available for purchase in the United States via the company's website. What makes the new device so special is the inclusion of 20 games with it right from the start, though this comes with a price, since the handset costs $10 more than the standard edition.

The new Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Games Edition comes to the market with the same specifications as the original model, and except maybe for the 20 full version games that have been included on it (10 from Gameloft, 10 from EA Mobile). The online price tag for the handset has been set at $299.00, slightly higher than the one of the standard 5530 XpressMusic, but still pretty appealing to gaming enthusiasts looking for a cheap handset.

Here's how Nokia describes the device on its website: “A full touch music phone that lets you discover, manage, and enjoy your favorite sounds. Slide and tap your finger on the smooth, bright screen for intuitive full touch control. Flip through your music, contacts, and photos to find what you need quickly and easily. Find and buy music online. Expand your music collection and take advantage of extended playback times, stereo speakers, and 4 GB of storage. The thin, attractive design is framed by a durable stainless steel front cover for a solid feel and lasting beauty.

In the end, the music capabilities of the device are those brought to the front as it can be seen from the description too, and not the gaming ones. The 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery included in the 5530 XpressMusic Games Edition should boast enough gameplay time, considering that it can provide up to 4 h 54 min of talk time or up to 3 h 45 min of video playback time. The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Games Edition can be seen on Nokia USA's website here.
