CNN, IBN, Jamba, Sony Pictures, RooftopComedy, ROK and Versaly Entertainment have all joined an agreement made with Nokia. The handset producer has just chosen these strong partners for bringing high-quality mobile videos on all Nseries handsets out there.

The partnership also includes YouTube and Reuters, which will make it possible for the other companies to provide mobile video content for the Nokia Video Center. The service relies on 3G, WiFi and PC for delivering video content adapted for best mobile phone viewing. It basically allows users to switch easily between a range of different video services. They can choose whatever interests them most, from branded on-demand video, internet video podcasts and their own favorite videos.

"The new partnerships expand the scope of quality mobile videos available to Nseries device owners. The new content ranges from movies, trailers and comedy to more informative videos such as international news", said Harri M?nnist?, Director, Multimedia, Nokia. Moreover, "Consumer desire to watch internet videos on mobile devices is growing all the time and we want to help users discover and access the best content in the simplest way possible", he further added.

CNN's part in the deal will be that of bringing its international news coverage, as well as business, sports and entertainment updates from around the world on the Nokia Nseries handsets. IBN News will allow people to download the latest news and features from the leading English news channel in India. Jamba, Sony Pictures, RooftopComedy, ROK and Versaly Entertainment will bring various types of entertainment content under the form of small video clips for the Nseries users to enjoy on their mobile phones.

At this time, Nokia Video Center is available on the Nokia N95 and Nokia N95 8GB, although future handset releases should expand the line of devices that support this service.
