Nokia N78 is the next Nseries handset that the Finnish company plans to release, most probably in less than one month from now, retailing for around 350 Euros ($550). Until the phone actually becomes available though, many users might want to know if the device is indeed a worthy member of the Nseries family.

From its official list of specs, the N78 seems to be a very nice phone. Now we have this almost confirmed, as IntoMobile got a brand new N78 to unbox and play around with it. The overall impression that the phone made was that of a true mobile multimedia computer, as any other Nseries device. However, some unspecified bugs are, apparently, a bit concerning, but Nokia will probably fix those until the official release of the phone.

The audio experience that N78 brings is said to be better than the one of N82, which is good news. The handset's keypad is quite easy to use, although it looks weird and kind of too small. Moreover, the data transfer speeds achieved thanks to the phone's HSDPA connectivity are quite satisfying, while the built-in photo camera seems to be just great, even though it's not a 5 Megapixel one.

An interesting aspect about the new N78 is its default ringtone, which could be the ringtone included by Nokia in all of its future handsets. Although it keeps the well-known Nokia melodic line, it sounds different, somehow like a Christmas song. Which should be a good thing, I guess.

The full specs of the Nokia N78 include quad-band GSM and dual-band 3G connectivity, Symbian S60 3.2, a 2.4 TFT display with 16 million colors and 240 x 320 pixels, GPS and A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Music and Video players, stereo speakers, FM radio, a 3.5mm audio jack, email, HTML browser, microSD card support and a 3.2 Megapixel camera with flash, auto focus, video recording and, of course, Carl Zeiss optics.

In the end, the N78 can surely attract many mobile users, being a good choice for those who won't have enough money for the N96 Nseries flagship that should hit the market sometime in August.
