14 DAY TRIAL // A new flavor of Nokia’s popular Nokia Music application is now available for download for the owners of smartphones powered by Windows Phone.
The new software release is already up for grabs through the Windows Phone Store, with some appealing new features packed inside.
The app will continue to provide users with access to a wide range of songs, just as it did before, enabling users to stay close to favorite tracks while on the go.
“With hours of online listening choose mixes from our music experts, recommendations based on artists you love, or created from your personal music profile,” the application’s description reads.
According to the mobile app’s release notes, the new version will provide users with the possibility to download all types of mixes to listen to offline.
Furthermore, Nokia Music 3.5 provides users with the possibility to easily “pin to start” any mix, so that they can easily play favorite songs when they choose to do so.
Other features of the new mobile application release also include:
- See what mixes and songs you've previously listened to by tapping “recent mixes” - Search for gigs by artist, venue and city - Share details of the song you are playing to social networks, via email and messaging
At the same time, Nokia notes that its new Nokia Music app iteration comes with a series of fixes packed inside, such as one resolving an issue with the disappearing menu options.
Available for devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 or higher, the Nokia Music App has been released exclusively for Nokia’s own Lumia smartphones.
Owners of these devices can easily discover “a world of music and local gigs” through the use of Nokia Music. Additional info on the application can be found on this page on Windows Phone Store. The app is available for download from there as well, though only on Lumia handsets.
