It appears that Nokia is set to bring most of its services under the same umbrella, and that Ovi should soon integrate them all, just as the company announced not too long ago. Nokia Messaging is the latest service from the company to become Ovi, the company announced not too long ago.

According to a recent post on the Ovi blogs, the move is also set to translate into having all of the social feed from the Nokia Messaging services, including the Nokia Messaging Blog, Facebook and Twitter accounts, included into the Ovi feeds.

“Hi guys, we are excited to let you know that we are rolling the Nokia Messaging Blog, Facebook page and Twitter account into our social feeds,” a recent post on the Ovi Blog reads.

“So now, our blog, our Twitter stream and our Facebook page will also contain news about the Nokia Messaging services (email, social and IM applications),” the said post continues.

In case there are some of you unfamiliar with what Nokia Messaging services are all about, they can find more info on them in the video embedded at the bottom of this article, courtesy of Ovi Bolg.

For those of you who are wondering what would happen with current Nokia Messaging social networking pages, we should note that they are set to be shut down in the following weeks.

“The current Nokia Messaging pages on Facebook and twitter and the Messaging Blog will be shut down in the coming weeks. But don’t worry, the same crew will be on hand to continue the conversation on these pages,” the aforementioned blog post reads.

This step is one of the first ones Nokia makes towards having Nokia Messaging integrated with Ovi, the same as it did with the social client and Maps.

Last year, the company announced officially that it plans on focusing more on the services that it delivers to its users, and moving them under the Ovi brand seems to be part of that plan.

However, the re-branding is expected to be followed by the addition of new features and enhancements to these services, though it remains to be seen what exactly does Nokia has in store for users in this area.
