We reported yesterday that the unlocked version of Nokia Lumia 930 went on sale in Australia through Mobicity, and now it looks like the smartphone is available for purchase in New Zealand as well.

The same unlocked and SIM-free Nokia Lumia 930 that’s now up for grabs in Australia is available in New Zealand too, from the same retailer, Mobicity.

Mobicity New Zealand is now selling the Nokia Lumia 930 for $750 NZD ($650 / €485) outright and customers can choose from different color options such as orange, black and white.

The green version of the Lumia 930 is not available at Mobicity, so if you’re looking for this particular color option, you might have to wait until Vodafone or other local carrier adds it to its portfolio.

For those wanting to give the unlocked Lumia 930 a try, the smartphone is compatible with the following networks according to Mobicity: 2Degrees, Vodafone 2G, Telecom XT Network, Vodafone 3G, 3G 1900, Telecom 3G 2100, Vodafone/Telecom 4G LTE 1800 and LTE 2600.

Keep in mind that you will need a nanoSIM in order to use the Lumia 930’s phone capabilities, so if you own a microSIM, you will have to cut it to fit in.

Nokia Lumia 930 is currently being rolled out in lots of other countries, but Windows Phone fans in Australia and New Zealand are among the first to be able to grab it.

The smartphone is expected to arrive in the UK only next week, and many customers in other European and Asian regions are still waiting for the smartphone to arrive in their countries.

The Lumia 930 is one of the few smartphones to ship with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system out of the box, but Microsoft will surely launch additional devices powered by the latest version of this platform in the coming months.

Until then, those who wish to experience Windows Phone 8.1 will be forced to choose between Nokia Lumia 630, Lumia 635 and Lumia 930.

However, the Lumia 930 is the best of the three, as the phone is equipped with a powerful 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

Although the high-end smartphone lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion, it comes packed with 32GB of storage by default. Nokia Lumia 930 owners will also receive an additional 7.5GB of free cloud storage via Microsoft’s OneDrive service.

Other highlights of the phone include a 5-inch AMOLED full HD (1080p) display, a 20-megapixel PureView camera and a 2420 mAh battery.
