New details on the upcoming release of Nokia Lumia 929 leaked online over the weekend, but we’re still not sure when exactly the smartphone will arrive on the market.

Although previous rumors pointed to a December 6 release, new info that emerged recently shifted the launch date of Lumia 929 to December 20.

Unfortunately, there’s no telling how reliable these sources are, but we suspect that the device will eventually go official at some point this month.

Several online retailers selling Nokia Lumia 929 accessories claimed they would release them on December 6, but over the last couple of days, they switched the launch date for these accessories for December 20, which is why we believe the smartphone has been delayed for later this month.

Nokia Lumia 929 has yet to be officially announced, but some of the smartphone’s specs have already leaked, so we can get an idea of what it has to offer.

Some press renders showing the phone were published a few weeks ago as well and we knew that the Lumia 929 would be packed with a 20-megapixel PureView camera with LED flash.

Today, the first live picture has just leaked via WPCentral along with new info on the smartphone. It appears that sources close to the matter claim that the Lumia 929 will be powered by a 2510 mAh Li-Ion battery, which might be a decent choice for a Windows Phone device.

The smartphone is also rumored to arrive with a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. On the inside, the Lumia 929 is said to be equipped with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

No word on microSD card slot yet and the live picture does now show the outer sides of the smartphone. Stay tuned for more info on the upcoming Lumia 929 release.
