The Cyan update for Nokia Lumia 920 has just started to arrive in several European countries. Although it wasn’t among the first smartphones to receive the update, Lumia 920 owners should be happy that it got it now, as there are still lots of Nokia phones that have yet to receive the Lumia Cyan upgrade.

As mentioned earlier, Lumia Cyan is now available in many European countries starting this week and it looks like Nokia Lumia 920 owners will have to thank Vodafone for the release of the update.

This seems to be one of the few European carriers that approved the Cyan update for Nokia Lumia 920, but some country variant updates are available as well.

But let’s see which versions of Nokia Lumia 920 are now eligible for the Cyan update and where in Europe people can upgrade.

The first country on the list is Germany, where Lumia 920 owners who purchased their phones through Vodafone’s official retail channels can now download the Cyan update. The country variant and the T-Mobile version of Lumia 920 have yet to receive the update in Germany.

Next in line is Greece, where Vodafone is now rolling out the Cyan update to customers who own the Nokia Lumia 920. Country variant and Cosmote versions are still under testing.

In Ireland, the Cyan update is available for the Vodafone version of Nokia Lumia 920, while in Italy both country variant and Vodafone models are eligible for the upgrade.

Vodafone Netherlands, as well as Vodafone Portugal, Vodafone Romania and Vodafone Spain, are also pushing the Cyan update to Nokia Lumia 920.

Owners of this phone in the UK will be pleased to know that the Cyan update is now available for both Vodafone and O2 versions of the smartphone. The following variants are still under testing in the UK: country variant, Three UK, and Everything Everywhere.

For the time being, these are all the Nokia Lumia 920 models receiving the Cyan update beginning this week, according to Microsoft’s official software update website.

We expect other European carriers to approve the Cyan update for the Lumia 920, as well as for other compatible Nokia smartphones, in the next couple of days.

There are so many updates that must be released that carriers are probably very busy these days testing Lumia Cyan builds sent by Microsoft. Anyway, we will keep an eye out for any additional details on the matter, so stay tuned for more info on this.
