However, at that time the carrier did not offer any details regarding the smartphone’s pricing options. Today, a new webpage is live for Rogers Nokia Lumia 900 pre-orders.
Customers who are still into Windows Phone devices may want to take into consideration Nokia’s only LTE-enabled smartphone, Lumia 900.
The smartphone is now available for pre-order for only $99.99 CAD with a new three-year agreement. Unfortunately, there is no detail on the no-term price for the moment, but it’s worth mentioning that Lumia 900 is available in the United States for only $450 USD outright.
Furthermore, AT&T offers the smartphone for $99.99 USD but requires customers to commit to a new two-year contract.
Still, it appears that AT&T’s deal is much better in comparison with Rogers’ which asks its customers to sign up for a longer three-year contract and pay a similar amount for the Nokia Lumia 900.
This is why Rogers decided to compensate customers who purchase the Lumia 900 by offering them additional features for free.
Basically, those who commit to a new three-year contract and opt for a certain voice and data package will also receive an additional service from Rogers.
For example, customers who pre-order Nokia Lumia 900 and commit to a new three-year agreement for $62.35 CAD monthly that offers them 200 minutes, unlimited Evenings & Weekdays (6pm - 7pm) and 1 GB of mobile data, will also get 1GB Unlimited Messaging & MY10 option for free.
There are about six additional features that customers who purchase the Nokia Lumia 900 on contract can choose from.
In addition, those who pre-order the smartphone will be automatically entered into a “grand prize draw” for a chance to win a special edition The Dark Knight Rises Nokia Lumia 900, as well as a “private screening of The Dark Knight Rises for the winner and their family and friends including popcorn, soft drinks, and swag bags.”
