The most powerful Windows Phone device launched by Nokia, the Lumia 900 is about to make its debut in Brazil. The smartphone is now listed at Nokia Brazil online store.

Customers who wish to pre-order the Lumia 900 will have to come up with R$ 1.799, which is about $890 USD or 725 EUR outright.

It is also worth mentioning that Nokia offers customers the possibility to choose from three color options, such as black, cyan and white. Check them out here.

Unfortunately, there are no details on the smartphone’s availability yet, but we will keep an eye out for any additional information and will update the information accordingly.

South Americans who are still unfamiliar with Nokia’s Windows Phone flagship smartphone should know that Lumia 900 is equipped with a powerful enough 1.4 GHz Qualcomm APQ8055 Snapdragon single-core processor and an Adreno 205 graphics processing unit.

Another strong point of the device might be the impressive 8-megapixel shutter on the back, which features Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, dual-LED flash and HD (720p) video recording. There’s also a secondary 1-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

On the inside, the smartphone packs 512MB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which should be enough for the average user. Lumia 900 lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion, but offers around 7GB of free cloud storage via SkyDrive.

The 4.3-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating for extra protection against scratches and scrapes. Nokia ClearBlack technology is included as well.

On the connectivity front, Lumia 900 offers HSPA+ (42Mbps) and HSUPA (5.76Mbps) support, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1.

Nokia Lumia 900 runs Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 7.5 operating system, but the handset is expected to receive a major update in the following months, which is dubbed Windows Phone 7.8.
