The smartphone will be shipped with full LTE support

No earlier than yesterday, details on Rogers Nokia Lumia 900 emerged in the wild. According to an internal document published online, the carrier plans to debut the smartphone for no more than $499 off-contract.

Although the document did not reveal any info regarding the phone’s release, it appears that the folks at MobileSyrup have just been tipped on the upcoming launch of the Nokia Lumia 900 at Rogers.

The document mentions that Nokia Lumia 900 LTE with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango on board is expected to be available in stores in early April 2012.

The information confirms Nokia’s announcement during the Mobile World Congress 2012, where the company stated that the Lumia 900 would be available in Canada through Rogers starting April.

It’s likely that the first dummy units of Lumia 900 will arrive at the end of March, while the first stock should hit shelves in the first week of April.

Information on the phone’s pricing options is scarce for the moment and we doubt that Rogers will be able to launch the Lumia 900 LTE for only $499 outright, unless it’s some kind of promotion meant only for the first 100 or 200 customers.

Hopefully, more details on Rogers Lumia 900 LTE price tag will emerge soon, so those who plan on grabbing this one will know what to expect.

In other news, last week Nokia announced a global version of the Lumia 900, which will be available for purchase outside North America. However, this model lacks the support for LTE technology, but that should not pose a problem for Windows Phone and Nokia fans alike.

The rest of the specs are similar, so expect both smartphone to sport a large 4.3-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display (480 x 800 pixels) with Corning Gorilla Glass coating, a 1.4 GHz single-core processor, 16GB of internal memory and 512 MB of RAM.
