The Pink Lumia 800 is now available for purchase in the UK, one month earlier than expected. UK-based retailer Carphone Warehouse added the pink version of the smartphone to its only store, but stated that it wouldn’t be available until February.

However, another major retailer in the country, Mobiles.co.uk has just received the first stock of pink Nokia Lumia 800, which is now available for purchase on select plans.

Those who cannot afford or don’t want to pay anything for the pink Lumia 800 can grab it for free upon signing up for a 24-month T-Mobile contract starting at £25.54, which will net customers 600 minutes (any network, any time), 500 SMSs and unlimited data.

Obviously, customers can opt for a cheaper £15.32 or £20.42 contracts, but that will require them to pay £139.99 (220 USD or 170 EUR) or £54.99 (85 USD or 65 EUR) for the smartphone.

Unveiled last year in October during Nokia World 2011 event, Lumia 800 is now available for purchase in three different color-schemes: Black, Cyan and Magenta.

Nokia Lumia 800 is one of the first true Windows Phone devices manufactured by the Finnish company. The other one, Lumia 710 is a budget friendly smartphone, which doesn’t seem to be so popular for the moment.

The Lumia 800 is powered by the latest Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system and packs a 1.4 GHz single core Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor, complemented by an Adreno 205 graphics processing unit.

On the inside, the smartphone embeds 16GB onboard memory and 512MB RAM. It doesn’t feature a microSD card slot for memory expansion, but offers 25GB of storage space via SkyDrive service.

Another strong point of the Windows Phone device is the 8-megapixel rear camera, which features Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, dual LED flash and HD (720p) video recording.
