The first Nokia Windows Phone to make it in the United States, the Lumia 710 is now available for purchase via T-Mobile USA for only $50 with a new two-year agreement.

Although the phone hit shelves at T-Mobile USA on January 11, several leading retailers across the country are already selling the Lumia 710 for less than $50 on contract.

Currently, Walmart seems to have a great deal on the Nokia Lumia 710, as the major retailer is offering the smartphone for free with a new two-year T-Mobile USA contract.

Customers who want to take advantage of this bargain can visit Walmart’s online store and grab the Nokia Lumia 710 for free. Furthermore, existing T-Mobile USA customers can purchase the Lumia 710 for just $49.99 with a two-year service contract renewal.

Nokia Lumia 710 is the less-featured Windows Phone device manufacturer by the Finnish company, though there are not so many differences between this one and the Lumia 800.

Aside from the camera, storage and battery, Nokia Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 have similar specs sheets. Each smartphone is powered by a 1.4 GHz single core processor and packs 512MB of RAM.

However, while the Lumia 710 embeds 8GB of internal memory, the Lumia 800 is delivered with 16GB of internal memory. Obviously, none features a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Nokia Lumia 710 sports a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display (480 x 800 pixels resolution) with Corning Gorilla Glass, which is based on Nokia’s ClearBlack technology. Lumia 800 has a superior 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display.

Software-wise, Lumia 710 comes “with the most integrated work-life solution of any mobile platform via the Microsoft Office Hub and an interactive mobile gaming experience via Xbox Live.”

Unlike Lumia 800 that features a 1450 mAh Li-Ion battery, the Lumia 710 drains energy from a smaller 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 396 hours of standby time or up to 7 hours of talk time.
