Unveiled last week at BUILD 2014, Nokia Lumia 630 is now available for pre-order in Russia for 7990 rubles off contract, which is about $225 or €165.

According to NokiaPowerUser, the dual-SIM version of the Lumia 630 is available for pre-purchase as well for 8,490 rubles ($240 / €175) outright.

This is one of the first countries to offer Windows Phone fans the chance to pre-order the new Nokia Lumia 630. We reported a few days ago that the Lumia 630 would also go on sale in Italy for €150 / $205, but there is no pre-order option available yet.

Customers in Russia can pre-order the smartphone via Nokia Russia online store, where Lumia 630 is available in multiple color options such as: orange, white and yellow. Additional color schemes may be introduced later on, including black and green.

Nokia Lumia 630 is the first smartphone to ship with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system out of the box. The device is expected to go on sale beginning May, while the second Windows Phone 8.1 handset, Lumia 930, will be available for purchase starting June.

There’s also a third smartphone that will be delivered with Windows Phone 8.1 onboard, the Lumia 635, which is expected to arrive sometime in July.

Considering its specs sheet, Nokia Lumia 630 could be a great deal for Windows Phone fans. The smartphone offers a decent 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

In addition, the phone’s display integrates Nokia’s ClearBlack technology and offers 218ppi (pixel density). Even though the device packs only 8GB of storage, users will be able to expand internal memory up to 128GB via microSD memory card.

Hardware-wise, Lumia 630 has a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit and only 512MB of RAM.

While 512MB of RAM should be enough to run Windows Phone 8.1 without any hiccups, there are some apps and games that require at least 1GB of RAM inside, so take this into consideration before making your investment.

The 5-megapixel main camera on the back comes with autofocus and HD (720p) video recording, but lacks LED flash. Nokia Lumia 630 does not feature a secondary front-facing camera, but is packed with a pretty decent 1830 mAh battery that should provide up to 600 hours of standby time or up to 16 hours of talk time.
