Windows Phone enthusiasts in the UAE rejoice, as Nokia has just released the affordable Lumia 625 smartphone featuring 4G LTE support.

The cheapest LTE phone launched by Nokia in the UAE, the Lumia 625 is now available for purchase via major carrier Etisalat for only Dh 999 ($270/€205), TradeArabia reports.

Customers who decide to go for the affordable Nokia Lumia 625 will also receive 1GB of mobile data free of charge for the first three months, as part of the special launch promotion.

After the first three months of free mobile data, customers who have purchased the Lumia 625 will have to pay Dh 99 ($27/€20) monthly for 1GB of data.

“Customers are using their mobile devices for an increasing variety of purposes, they want faster mobile data speeds on their devices. The Nokia Lumia 625 is an ideal device for those who want a powerful smartphone for a budget price,” said Khaled El Khouly, chief marketing officer, Etisalat.

Aside from bringing 4G LTE support to a lower price range, Nokia Lumia 625 packs a more than decent 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating.

In addition, the phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon processor and packs 512MB of RAM. In addition, it has 8GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB).

There’s also a 5-megapixel rear facing camera that features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, along with secondary VGA front-facing camera.
