The tablet has been the exclusive domain of John Lewis, so far

Nokia launched the Lumia 2520 tablet last year and when the product made it to the UK, it was exclusively sold by John Lewis (which by the way had a very nice promotion ending this week, including the slate).

But that no longer seems to be the case now, as Carphone Warehouse has just started taking pre-orders for the tablet at £399 / $658 / €477 for the SIM-free, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE version of the slate.

And it’s not just the tablet they are offering, Carphone Warehouse is also throwing in a Power Keyboard completely free. This is great, especially if you want to use the tablet for productive activities. Not to mention, the accessory has an extra battery embedded, thus prolonging the life-cycle of the device.

As a quick memory refresh, the Lumia 2520 is Nokia’s first Windows RT tablet, that has received pretty good feed-back from users and press alike.

The tablet has a spacious 10.1-inch HD AH-IPS display coated with a protective layer of Gorilla Glass 2 and draws power from a 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor combined with 2GB of RAM. Furthermore, the slate is both NFC and Wi-Fi capable, so it offers pretty much whatever your heart desires.
