Good news for British tablet fans who have been eyeing the newly released Nokia Lumia 2520, the slate will finally be making it to the country just in time for Christmas.

But there’s a little caveat here. The Nokia tablet will be available for purchase in the country exclusively from John Lewis. The slate will land in store locations, as well as online, starting December 4.

“We’re excited to announce the launch of the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet exclusive to John Lewis. We have seen a continuous demand for tablets, selling one every 15 seconds, and we think the addition of this tablet to our range will appeal to customers looking to do more than surf the web.”

“It comes with the Microsoft Windows 8 operating system and Microsoft Office is pre-installed, making it ideal for consumers who use Excel, Word, Powerpoint or Outlook. It also is 4G enabled so customers can use super-fast mobile broadband to stay connected.”

So there you have it. If you are located in the UK, your only chance of grabbing the Lumia 2520 is John Lewis, which will sell the product for £400 / $654 / €480 a pop. Customers can choose from Gloss Red and Silk Black. With John Lewis hogging all Lumia 2520 sales in the country, shoppers won’t have access to any carrier subsidies.

The Nokia Lumia Power Keyboard will be added to the line-up in the coming weeks and will set you back with another £150 / $245 / €180.
