Mobile phone users in the United States interested in the purchase of a Nokia Lumia 1520 on contract on AT&T’s network should head over to Microsoft Store for that, as the handset is available there at only $49 (€35).

Released on AT&T at $199.99 (€143), the phone is available as Nokia’s current flagship device, though this should change as soon as Nokia Lumia 930 arrives on shelves.

However, if you’re not willing to pay that much for the device, Microsoft Store has you covered, with the phone available at less than 25% from the original price.

Moreover, the deal is available for users interested in updates too, as well as for those who want to add a new line to their already existing contracts, and not only for those who are looking for a new 2-year contract.

Those who will go to the Microsoft Store to learn more on the deal available on AT&T’s Nokia Lumia 1520 will also see that the device is cheaper contract-free as well, as PhoneArena points out.

At the moment, the wireless carrier has it available at $584.99 (€422) SIM-free, but Microsoft is selling it via its online portal at only $549 (€396) without a contract.

Nokia Lumia 1520, is currently available through Microsoft’s online store in Black, Red and Yellow versions, with the White flavor being the only one to be missing from the series.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Nokia Lumia 1520 was made official in November last year with a 6-inch full HD touchscreen display, being the largest handset in Nokia’s lineup.

The mobile phone was also unveiled with a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor packed inside, as well as with 2GB of RAM next to it, to ensure increased performance capabilities.

Nokia Lumia 1520 also sports 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, and a 3400mAh battery, capable of offering up to 24 hours of talk time, or up to 32 days of standby time.

Moreover, the handset comes to the market with a 20-megapixel camera on the back, with auto-focus, two-stage capture key, Carl Zeiss lens, and support for full HD video recording. The smartphone sports a 1280 x 960 pixels front camera too, for video calling.

Nokia Lumia 1520 was made official with the Windows Phone 8 operating system loaded on top, though it will receive an update to the newer Windows Phone 8.1 platform release as soon as it becomes generally available for end-users.
