It might not be too long before Lumia 1520, Nokia’s latest flagship Windows Phone 8 device, arrives on the market in Australia, but no specific info on its pricing has been provided as of now.

Today, the smartphone can be seen on this page at Mobicity as available for pre-order in Australia, with a price tag of $959.95 (€665) attached, but with no specific release date in tow.

Recently, a rumor suggested that the smartphone might be released in the country at $899 (€623) via Harvey Norman, but it appears that others will have it for a bit more.

Nokia Lumia 1520, currently the largest Windows Phone 8 smartphone, was made official back in October, and is expected to hit shelves in the United States as soon as the next week.

The device features a 6-inch full HD IPS LCD touchscreen display, while being powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM.

The handset also features 32GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage space, and 7GB of free SkyDrive storage.

On the back, Nokia Lumia 1520 has a 20.7-megapixel PureView camera, with a 1/2.5-inch back illuminated sensor, 6-lens optics and support for full HD video recording. There is also a 1.2MP front camera included, with HD video capabilities.

Nokia has packed the smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity inside, as well as with Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS receiver, NFC, and the usual set of sensors. The handset is powered by a 3400 Li-Ion battery capable of offering up to 25 hours of standby time on 3G networks.

What remains to be seen at the moment is when exactly the phone will be released in Australia, and whether it will be cheaper than what MobiCity is currently asking for it or now. I hope that its official pricing will be lower.
