Starting today, mobile phone users in Singapore interested in the purchase of a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone can grab the Nokia Lumia 1320, the latest device from the company to have been launched in this market.

The smartphone has been released in China not long ago, and is set to arrive in India as well in the coming weeks.

Users in Singapore who would like to grab this mobile phone will find it available through various Nokia stores and Nokia Solution partners in the country, with a price tag of SGD459 ($363/€267) off contract, as twentyfirsttech notes.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Lumia 1320 was launched as a cheaper version of the Lumia 1520, featuring a 6-inch screen, the same as the flagship, but lower hardware capabilities.

The phone’s IPS LCD display can deliver a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution at 245ppi pixel density. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 technology.

The mobile phone also features a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor inside, paired with 1GB of RAM and with 8GB of internal memory. The smartphone also packs a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of external storage space.

On the back, the new device packs a 5-megapixel camera with flash and auto focus, capable of recording videos at full HD resolution. Moreover, it sports a VGA front camera for making video calls while on the go.

Nokia Lumia 1320 is powered by a 3400mAh battery and also features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as support for LTE networks, and a built-in GPS receiver.

Running under Windows Phone 8, the handset also comes with a variety of pre-loaded applications from Nokia and Microsoft.

“The Nokia Lumia 1320 is a cost-effective business smartphone with built-in Microsoft Office and great applications like Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and Lync. And enterprise-level security gives you peace of mind wherever you go,” Nokia Singapore notes on its website.
