The new device features hidden external display and a push-to-open side key

Nokia has listed on its USA website its already rumored 7510 Supernova mobile phone, which features T-Mobile branding. As the giant states, the new device is meant to help customers “add a little fun” to their social life. The phone's 2-megapixel camera with LED flash, its FM radio, QVGA screen, microSD memory card slot, as well as an external screen are sure to draw attention to it.

The new Nokia 7510 Supernova features a unique push-to-open side key that allows users to open it effortlessly, and comes with colorful, exchangeable Xpress-on covers. The handset's hidden front display is designed to shine brightly through the cover when it is activated. The FM stereo radio and a music player can offer a lot of entertainment options.

The internal memory of the phone can be expanded via the microSD card slot, which supports memory cards of up to 8GB. The 2-megapixel camera (1200 x 1600 pixels) sports 4 x digital zoom and an integrated LED flash light. The 7510 Supernova's 2.2” QVGA display delivers up to 16.7 million colors, allowing users to view photos at a high resolution. The hidden TFT comes with a 128 x 160 pixel resolution.

The new device features support for GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz operating frequencies, and GPRS Multislot Class 32 and EDGE 3GPP Rel.5 Multislot Class 32 data transfer. Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity is also present, as well as XHTML browsing over HTTP/TCP/IP, WAP 2.0, OSS Internet browser and OMA DRM version 2.0 (digital rights management).

The 870 mAh battery is stated to support up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours in standby. The phone should weigh about 123g with the battery inside, and it measures 3.64 in x 1.83 in x 0.66 in. The handset is expected to come in a range of colors, including red, aquamarine, and brown. Nokia hasn't introduced the 7510 Supernova yet, but it is expected to do so in the near future.
