The Nokia E71x, one of the most beautiful handsets unveiled by the Finnish maker, has been reported a while ago to be heading for the AT&T shelves. The model is stated to be an all-black version, as the one spotted back in December on few sites, and the latest news shows the AT&T-branded variant as coming to meet its users.

The news points towards a close official release of the rare device, as it is reported to have already made an appearance on eBay. The only problem here would be the fact that AT&T has nothing to do with it. Those willing to lay their hands on the slim QWERTY handset in the shortest while possible should just take a look at eBay. As many of you might already know, a Nokia E71 unbranded with a T-Mobile contract discount is already available for purchase on Best Buy.

Today's news shows that the AT&T branded E71x comes from a seller in Grand Prairie, which is supposedly close to Nokia’s U.S. offices in Irving. The device is displayed for auction on eBay, and the bid was up to $370, at the time this article was written. There are, whatsoever, not many pieces of information regarding neither the device, nor on the packaging included.

For now, the fact that the handset is there on auction is suggested to point towards two different directions. While hoping that this is not the case, it may mean that AT&T could be on the brink of pulling the device back. On the other hand, as stated above, the phone might soon get released on the market, something that would make a lot of users rejoice. Not to mention that the carrier's offering will be added to another great device.

If you're into getting the new Nokia E71x for yourself, head to the eBay site to make a bid.
