Nokia E71, one of the two new Eseries smartphones recently unveiled by the Finnish manufacturer, is now available in USA, from Nokia's Flagship Store in Chicago. Of course, we're talking about the North American edition of E71, which comes with 850 / 1900 HSDPA connectivity so as to work on AT&T's network.

As reported on the Howard Forums, for the moment only the grey version of E71 is available in the Chicago Flagship Store. The US E71 has a retail price of $483, but users can buy it only for a bit over $500, as some taxes need to be included. Anyway, the price is surely attractive, and those who have been waiting for the new E71 to hit the US market now have the chance to get the smartphone. Sure, Chicago might be quite far for some, but Nokia will probably soon ship the new Eseries to lots of other locations across the States. Plus, according to BGR, AT&T, the largest North American carrier, is already preparing to offer the E71 to its customers (probably in both grey and white), with a contract agreement and for a lower price than the retail one.

Officially presented by Nokia in mid-June, together with the E66 slider, the E71 seems to be the perfect handset for business users and not only. The smartphone's highlights are: a full QWERTY keyboard, internal GPS, Nokia Maps, Wi-Fi, a 320 x 240 pixel TFT display with 16 million colors, advanced email and Web capabilities, document viewer and editor, a 3.15 Megapixel camera with auto focus and flash, Push to Talk, Bluetooth 2.0, Media player, FM radio and expandable memory - all running on Symbian 9.2 S60 3.1 Edition.

At only 10 millimeters (0.39 inches) in thickness, Nokia E71 is among the thinnest business-oriented handsets, and this aspect will surely make it attractive to even more users.
