A new mobile phone is now available for purchase in Canada on the airwaves of WIND Mobile, namely the Nokia C7, one of the first Symbian^3 based device that the Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia brought to the market in September last year.

The new smartphone was put on sale at the wireless carrier with a price tag of $350 attached to it, without the need to commit to a contract agreement.

The Nokia C7 is a beautifully crafted touch screen smartphone constructed from polished stainless steel and glass,” the wireless carrier explains on its website.

“Keep what's important to you at your fingertips with a fully customizable home screen. Your favorite contacts, news, email and applications are always easily accessible, plus get live updates with integrated social networks support.”

The specifications list of the new device are quite appealing, since it includes a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen display that can boast a 640 x 360 pixels resolution, along with support for AWS: 2100/1700 MHz GSM: 1900/1800/900/850 MHz.

Moreover, the new device would enable users take sharp photos with its 8-megapixel photo snapper, which is also capable of capturing video in 720p HD.

The specifications list of the new device would also include 8GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, and GPS, A-GPS, with support for Nokia Maps 3.0 (available for free turn-by-turn navigation).

The Nokia C7 sports FM radio and built-in MP3/video player, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity options, and a 1200 mAh battery that can offer up to 9.5 hours of talk time, or up to 23 days of standby time.

The new mobile phone measures 117.3 x 56.8 x 10.5 mm and weighs in at 130 g. It would offer support for various mobile services, as well as for applications available for download via the Ovi Store.
