Espoo, Finland-based mobile phone maker Nokia was rumored a few months ago to be working on a new series of handsets, supposedly called the Cseries. Back then, the news also included info on an Xseries from the company, and we already saw the Nokia X6 being launched on the market with a great deal of entertainment features, yet it seems that no details on what the Cseries might turn into emerged. However, now we have the chance to take a look at one of the handsets that would be included in the lineup, the Nokia C5, which made it into the wild in a set of leaked photos.

The new mobile phone is said to be on its way to making an appearance in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress, though it might not be unveiled at the show after all, since Nokia won't be present there. However, that might not stop it from unveiling a new mid-level smartphone to the world, one that would be none other than the now spotted Nokia C5, dailymobile.se states.

According to the news site, some of the specifications the device will land on the market with have been also unveiled, including the Symbian S60v3 FP2 operating system that will be pre-loaded on it, support for HSDPA / HSUPA connectivity, 50MB of internal memory or a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space.

At the same time, the new mobile phone from Nokia is expected to come with a 2.2-inch screen that will boast a QVGA resolution, with a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper, FM Radio on board, a built-in GPS receiver with AGPS, and with a 3.5mm audio jack. If launched during this month, the handset might not be announced with the C5 name after all, though there are also great chances that Nokia will finally unveil some details on the yet-unannounced but long-rumored Cseries. Take a look at the photos available with the device, and check again with us for additional details.
