One of the unannounced Nokia feature-phones has just been spotted in India. Although the phone has been marked with the C0-00 codename, its internal name for Bluetooth reveals the real designation of the handset as Nokia C2-06.

The C2-06 features a slider form factor with all its corners rounded, which gives it a pebble-like look.

However, there's nothing really fancy about this feature-phone's design. Instead, it comes with two of the most appealing features for Indian customers: dual-SIM and touchscreen.

The phone has been spotted by the guys over at Hackintosh India, who were been given access to the C2-06 by a Nokia tester in India.

In addition to the two main features of the phone, it is worth mentioning that the phone runs Nokia's S40 6th Edition UI, so no Symbian OS there, and that its display is resistive, not capacitive.

It also embeds a sub-par 2-megapixel camera without LED flash and a 1020 mAh Li-Ion battery (BL-5C). The phone appears to be targeting the low-budget market, as it lacks Wi-Fi or 3G connectivity.

Furthermore, the C2-06 seems to be a more basic follow-up of the X3-02 Touch and Type handset, but lacking a few important features like Wi-Fi and HSDPA.

Apparently, the phone's touchscreen seems to be inferior to its X3-02 predecessor, as the guys from Hackintosh India suggested, after doing a quick hands-on session with the slider.

All in all, the phone is likely to appeal to a certain market segment, which would be mostly users looking for a cheap dual-SIM phone that bears the Nokia mark.

If the manufacturer doesn’t take the time to add any other improvements to the slider, we might see the C2-06 announced in the coming weeks.

It remains to be seen how much it will cost and where it will be launched first.
