14 DAY TRIAL // Nokia has just announced the upcoming availability of 22 classic arcade games for Asha Touch devices starting today. All titles will be available for download via Nokia Store.
Created by NAMCO BANDAI, these games will only be compatible with the new Nokia Asha Touch devices that were launched last month.
Some of the titles in this bundle include popular games in the industry, such as PAC-MAN, Final Fantasy, ACE COMBAT and Flight Control.
As we already mentioned, there will be 22 game titles coming on Nokia Asha Touch devices from NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc and NAMCO BANDAI Games Americas Inc., including: SOULCALIBUR, RIDGE RACER Drift, BRAIN EXERCISE with Dr. Kawashima, GALAGA Special Edition and many more.
Although all games come for a price, Nokia announces these titles are priced very low, so users should expect costs between USD 0.99 and USD 2.99.
According to the Finnish company, all 22 mobile games will be available in more than 52 countries and with over 145 operators.
Nokia also mentions that Asha Touch devices owners won’t need to purchase any of the 22 games using a credit card, instead the company saying that those who wish to purchase the new titles can use Nokia's extensive direct billing agreements with carriers.
Keep in mind that these games are aimed at Nokia fans who own the Asha 311, 305 and 306 with touchscreen displays. These seem to be the only compatible devices for the moment, but more handsets may be added in the future. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
