Nokia has just released the 6555 phone model, one more 3G-enabled handset. The phone's only special feature is that of 6x zoom, which hints towards a highly powerful camera, as, other than that, the device features only average capabilities.

Along with an appealing design that Nokia is quite proud of, the mobile phone could very well prove to be a success. There are many people that want to own a handset capable of bringing the most evolved camera performances and nothing more, which is exactly what Nokia 6555 is capable of bringing.

The handset is the first WCDMA phone with a smooth-back fold design, which gives it en extra amount of elegance. Moreover, it also has a recessed hinge, which creates a seamless line when opened. It will bring its user smooth curves and stylish telecom solutions, although not the most evolved ones.

Nokia 6555 will have a QVGA internal display of 16 million color and a resolution of 240 x 320. Nothing out of the ordinary in this, just as the phone fails to impress even in its following specifications. It includes 30 MB of memory and also a microSD card slot, one feature that most evolved handsets manage to pack nowadays.

Connectivity is available through Bluetooth wireless, although it would have been a shame to see this feature missing. The greatest advantage about this phone is that it has both WCDMA and quadband GSM functionality, which will make it compatible with a large number of networks.

"Mobile-savvy consumers expect superior quality and design. We understood that need, and so created the the Nokia 6555. The Nokia 6555 is a sophisticated accessory delivering the outstanding features that you expect from Nokia", said Markku Suomi, Product Group Director, Mobile Phones, Nokia.

Nokia 6555 will be available sometime within the next month at an estimated retail price of 200 euros, without taxes and subsidies.
