Nokia has just released a new high-end CDMA handset - Nokia 6275i. The mobile phone has been introduced at the Nokia Connection 2006 event in Singapore and it seems to be the first CDMA phone to feature a 2 megapixel camera.

The CDMA handset is not part of Nokia's agreement with Pantech and as such it doesn't include EV-DO technology. Nokia 6275i has a candybar phone look similar to Nokia 6236i and comes with a high-resolution QVGA display with 262K colors, and 320?240 resolution. The handset supports Bluetooth connectivity and includes a slot for microSD memory card. It also features music playing capabilities and supports MP3 and AAC-encoded music. Users would be able to add on a 2-GB MicroSD card to this mobile phone making it a potential replacement for a digital music player.

While there are no certain plans, it's possible that the Nokia 6275i will be launched in the US. It's expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of this year.
