Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is reportedly getting ready to come to the market with yet another S60 5th Edition touchscreen handset that would make it into its already popular XpressMusic lineup, namely the Nokia 5900. Rumors about the possibility that said device is under development in Nokia's labs have cycled before, and this time we learn that a few more details on the device emerged, suggesting that it might be real in the end.

According to Engadget, which cites mobile-review, the new specs available on the upcoming Nokia 5900 XpressMusic show that the phone will sport a 5-megapixel photo snapper, and that it will run under S60 5th Edition FP1. Interestingly, this would be the first handset to come with an S60 5th Edition feature pack, in case the handset is indeed released.

To make things even more attractive, the upcoming XpressMusic phone is also expected to pack SDXC (SD eXtended Capacity memory card) support, offering impressive additional storage space options, which seems even more unbelievable than the existence of the handset itself. However, the 5900 is expected to come to the Nokia World in Stuttgart next month, which means that it won't be long before we learn whether the rumors are real or not.

In the meantime, we should mention that the phone is reportedly the successor of 5800, which won't be smaller, as the 5530 proved to be, but only thinner, though including more capabilities than the highly popular touchscreen mobile phone. Previously, the handset was also stated to come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as with a 3.5-inch display. In case it does come to the market, it should prove a much more attractive phone than the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, though probably also a more expensive one. Stay tuned to learn additional details on this as soon as they become available.
