In the land of air cooling, Noctua is highly respected by all, thanks to their high performance, as well as low noise solutions, the 140mm dual fan customizable NH-C14 CPU cooler being the latest offering to join the ranks of their highly acclaimed NH-D14.

Featuring pretty much the same six heatpipe arrangement used by its older brother (although this doesn't come with a dual radiator design), the NH-C14 is supplied together with two NF-P14 premium fans which can be installed on top and/or underneath the fin-stack.

As a result, the NH-C14 can be configured according to the users wishes, using both fans delivering the best cooling performance while installing just one of the two NF-P14 FLX 140mm fan providing additional clearance for tall chipset coolers or RAM modules.

Furthermore, mounting the fan beneath the radiator will also allow this cooler to be installed in smaller enclosures and HTPC chassis.

Add to that the impressive number of platforms the NH-C14 support via its SecuFirm2 mounting system (LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA775, AM2, AM2+ and AM3) and you pretty much know Noctua has a cooler that should be able to fit every motherboard out there.

"Our NH-C12 coolers are renowned to rank among the most capable top-flow cooling solutions on the market, so we're truly proud to offer a further substantial improvement in quiet cooling performance with the new NH-C14", says Mag. Roland Mossig, Noctua CEO.

"This model really closes the gap to good tower coolers while being much lower in height and ensuring better component cooling."

According to Noctua, the NH-C14 is available right now for purchase for a rather hefty $84.90 (EUR 74.90) price tag, the cooler being bundled with a tube of Noctua's NT-H1 thermal compound as well as low-noise and ultra-low-noise adapters.
