Singer Pink denies she’s decided on having a water birth for her first child

One month ago, singer Pink confirmed that she and husband Carey Hart were expecting their first child. Though she usually doesn’t do this, she is now denying reports she’ll have a water birth to deliver the baby.

The latest issue of InTouch magazine has it from an unnamed but reportedly reliable source / “friend” that Pink has been considering options for birth.

Admittedly, she’s settled on a water birth and she’s already informed all her friends and family, including, of course, Carey, the tab claims.

“Pink is opting for a water birth when she delivers her firstborn next spring. She did her research and decided that a water birth worked for her,” the friend dishes for the magazine.

Somehow, Pink heard the report – and she’d like the world to know that, no, she has not decided to have a water birth, so her mom can relax.

“My mom just told me that ‘in touch’ has informed her that she is invited to my delivery, and that I want a water birth. She asked me if she needs to get a snorkel. This is all news to me. Amazing. Good reporting,” Pink said on her Twitter with her unmistakable sense of humor.

Other than that, Pink is fine. The pregnancy is progressing very well, and both she and Carey are very excited at the thought of becoming parents for the first time.

Well, perhaps Carey is the most excited of the two, the star has revealed in a recent interview, also cited by InTouch.

“Carey brings me breakfast in bed… counting the days until that goes away, but it’s been good,” Pink revealed.

“He’s wanted to be a dad since – I mean, we’ve been together nine years on and off, and he brought it up two weeks after we met. So, he’s wonderful. He’s going to be a really, really cute daddy,” the singer explained.
