Independent wireless retailer Wirefly won't have any more AT&T devices and contracts on sale starting with the next month, the company's CEO Andy Zeinfeld announced via a post on their website.

Unfortunately, no specific info on what determined the retailer take this decision emerged for the time being, but next month would mark a change in the company's offering.

In “A Letter to Our Valued Customers from the CEO,” Zeinfeld explains that, although the retailer is committed to providing users with the best experience possible, AT&T's users won't benefit from the same treatment.

“Unfortunately, circumstances prevent us from being able to deliver on this promise with regard to AT&T phones,” Andy Zeinfeld stated.

“It is therefore with regret that I must inform you that effective March, 2011, we will no longer offer AT&T products and services on Wirefly.com,” he continues.

However, he notes that all users who purchased AT&T devices from the retailer would be covered by the Wirefly Satisfaction Guarantee policy.

“If you purchase an AT&T phone through Wirefly, you are still protected by the Wirefly Satisfaction Guarantee, offering free returns for any reason for up to 30 days after purchase; and of course, you can still bring your phone to a local AT&T store at any time for questions, assistance, or warranty issues,” he notes.

The decision to stop selling AT&T devices and services is not final. “As circumstances allow, we will work with AT&T toward the goal of offering their products and services again in the future,” Andy Zeinfeld explains.

Only AT&T phones and contracts are affected by the move. Users interested in the purchase of new devices through Wirefly should be able to do so, benefiting from available offerings from Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, or Sprint.

Moreover, the retailer notes that their prepaid carriers list is expanding, and that it currently includes devices from Net10, TracFone, and soon MetroPCS, Boost Mobile, and Virgin Mobile.
