Towards the end of February, I introduced you to Wonky, a disabled pup who had some very serious difficulties walking because her legs were grown inwards. Veterinarians took care of fixing Wonky's legs and soon enough the pooch even got a new home.

Long story short: Wonky will from now on live with the Beaton family in Bradford. Seeing how she is now starting a new life, Wonky also got a new name: Hope.

“We've renamed her Hope because the staff at the Dogs Trust didn't give up on her and helped her recovery,” 21-year-old Kimberley Beaton told members of the press.

“I was gobsmacked when we heard we had got her as I knew there would be hundreds of applicants for her. We filled out a form anyway, and now here she is. We are over the moon,” she went on to argue.
