Soon but not soon enough

This may be the most useless gaming related service I've seen so far. You probably know the video games trading platform Goozex, but what you didn't know is that they have released a new service that allows you to trade PS3 and Nintendo Wii games.

I'm not saying that releasing such a service is a bad thing, but I guess it is useless right about now, given the fact that there are only a few gamers out there that own PS3s and Wiis. You would probably contradict me by saying that both Sony's and Nintendo's next-gen sold out, but I have to point out that most of them are up for sale on eBay.

Given the poor game to console ratio for both the Wii and the PS3, Goozex won't be expecting for this service to bring in large revenues, but you might say that they want to be ahead of the game. Given the extreme next-gen hardware shortage, they will have to wait a long, long time to obtain some profit. Maybe they should focus on Xbox 360 games.

According to Goozex's CEO, Valerio Zanini, the company has drafted a 12-month plan. They expect that gamers will come and use this service in the upcoming 12 months. Apparently, they have some great deals in store for next-gen users, as they will be able to great point values if they trade-in their games, and by this, they will eventually be able to get next-gen titles for one dollar.

If you were to ask me, to get a next-gen for US$ 1 would be quite something. What's the current average retail price? Is it around US$ 50-60? Quite a price drop, you might say (but only in 12 months' time).
