Opera Software just announced that it has been chosen for Nintendo DS, and it has set a July 24th launch date for the browser on the Nintendo DS platform in Japan, informs Daily Tech.

Opera representatives added that, when the browser launches in Japan, it will be priced at around 3,800 yen or about $33. Unfortunately, Opera didn't disclose the launching dates for the browser on the European and American markets, but the officials said that other details will be revealed in July, after releasing the gaming platform in Japan.

Earlier this month, we found out that Nintendo Wii gaming console will feature next-generation graphics, an improved sensor bar, an onboard physics processing unit (PPU) and many other AO rated games. Nobody believed, at least when everything started, all these rumors, but someone, probably the manufacturer, hunted down all the postings and removed them every time.

According to these stories, Nintendo will organize in August an entire event dedicated to Wii gaming console - Space World Event 2006. During this happening, the manufacturer will reveal all the juicy details regarding its console.

But, besides all the future games, it is said that Wii will benefit from an one-time collaboration between IBM and ATI. The specialists are saying that 'a complicated system' might trigger several problems for game developers, but everyone prefers to wait for the official statement or comments.
