All the commotion generated by the two console giants, Sony and Microsoft, has made some believe that there's no room for Nintendo on the market.

Play Station 3 and Xbox 360 were the main attractions at E3 Expo, Nintendo barely making its presence felt there with scarce details about Revolution. The situation has changed dramatically at Tokyo Game Show, where Nintendo baffled the audience with the new Nintendo Revolution controller.

If up until now you have had the impression that a console controller requires both hands, Nintendo says that one is enough and has launched a controller that looks a lot like a remote control.

Fitted with motion sensors which record the slightest hand movements, the Revolution controller has a button for the thumb and another one positioned on the inferior part, which looks a lot like a trigger; this one is operated with the index finger.

In this way, gamers will be able to use the new controller like a sword, or a pistol, depending on the hand's movements.

Fearing the competition, Nintendo didn't disclose any technical details about the new controller.

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo's president, believes that the new controller will help game makers who will be able to develop new titles by taking advantage of the new movements allowed by the controller.
