The launch of the Nintendo Revolution controller has been a huge success for the company, but Nintendo didn't' say a word about the console's tech specs.

According to amessageposted by one of Factor 5's employees, Nintendo Revolution should have the following configuration: a 2.5 GHz PowerPC processor with 256 KB of L1 cache memory and 1 MB of L2 cache, a 32MB PPU, 512 RAM and a 600 MHz ATI "RN520" graphics chip with 256MB of RAM.

In addition, the console will support resolutions of up to 2048 x 1268, though is not certain whether it will have HDTV support, and 7.1 sound.

Microsoft and Sony tried hard to convince the gamers at E3 Expo, but Nintendo waited for Tokyo Game Show to drive the competition crazy with the new controller, which is able to detect the wrist's movements.

Another significant difference between Xbox 360, Play Station 3 and Nintendo Revolution resides in the targeted segments. While Microsoft and Sony are going for the hardcore gamers, Nintendo's officials said that they would rather have a more accessible console.

This week, Softpedia would like to know your opinion on gaming consoles. What is your favorite console you either own or you are planning to buy? Are you an Xbox fan or a Playstation fan? Has Xbox360 convinced you it's time to buy one? Or you'll wait for the PS3? Express your opinion here.
